Maurizio coached professional basketball in Italy for more than 10 years before entering the field of digital media.

Prior to joining Samsung to create and lead its sports initiative, he was the founder and CEO of GoalShouter, company he led for 2 years, from inception through the first round of financing.

With more than 15 years in the digital media field, he worked for MP & Silva, Mediapartners Group and Infront Sports and Media, leading their digital media initiatives and creating products that combined sports, media and data.

Boswell Louis

As Senior Vice President and General Manager for Southeast Asia, Louis is charged with leading the strategic direction, growth and management of Discovery’s businesses in all local markets in the Southeast Asian region. Louis oversees all aspects of channel development, marketing, communication, sales, business development and operational performance across Discovery’s portfolio of 11 brands across Southeast Asia: Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, Discovery Kids, Discovery Science, Eve, DMAX, Discovery HD World, Eurosport and Setanta Sports.

Louis rejoined Discovery in January 2013 from AETN All Asia Networks, a joint venture of A&E Networks and ASTRO All Asia Networks, where he was General Manager based in Singapore. Louis has a long track record in the Asian cable and satellite and research industries, and has held senior roles with ACNielsen in China and with Interactive Audience Measurement Asia Limited (iamasia) which he co-founded, and as well as with Discovery, BBC Worldwide and ESPN Star Sports. As Discovery’s Senior Manager in charge of the China market from 1995 to 2000, Louis was instrumental in devising a market entry strategy for Discovery in China, and significantly developing that market as one of the company’s fastest growing business units.

Louis is British by birth. He holds an honours degree in Chinese from Oxford University, and has lived in Asia since 1991. He is fluent in English and Mandarin, and conversant in Cantonese and French.

In March 2014, Damon joined MP & Silva from NewsCorp UK having activated the paid-for content strategy, through the acquisitions of the English Premier League, SPFL, Aviva Premiership and ECB executions for The Sun and The Times of London. Damon has substantial knowledge of the media market place having implemented successful digital content strategies and technology products at leading Media brands for the past 15 years including MTV, Nickelodeon, Walt Disney Company and British Sky Broadcasting Ltd.

Kerschbaumer Ken

Ken Kerschbaumer is executive director, editorial services, of the Sports Video Group and SVG Europe. He has been writing about how sports networks and leagues use video and audio technology to deliver a quality TV experience since 1991 when began his career at Television Broadcast magazine and TVB Europe.

In 1998 he was named editor of Digital Television magazine before joining Broadcasting & Cable in 2000 as senior editor, technology. He left Broadcasting & Cable in 2005 to begin SVG. Today the organisation has a global presence as it supports advances in sports content creation and distribution.

Lau Kok Keng heads up the Sports Law practice of Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP. He has worked with various domestic and international sports governing bodies and federations, football clubs, sports agencies, sports rights holders, commercial sponsors, television broadcasters, cable operators, sports associations, sports bookmakers, and sports and media personalities. Such work includes handling a broad spectrum of legal issues arising from the hosting of multi-sport regional events like the Beijing Olympics 2008, Asian Youth Games 2009, SEA Games 2015 and ASEAN Para Games 2015, and dealing with ambush marketing, commercial licensing, sponsorship and public viewing issues arising from single-sport international tournaments like the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups, and the 2004, 2008 and 2012 UEFA Euro Championships. His work also extends to advising licensed bookmakers on various legal and regulatory aspects of legalized sports betting.

Kok Keng is currently an arbitrator with the Court of Arbitration for Sports, and regularly sits on Committees of Inquiry and disciplinary panels of various national sports associations and SLeague football clubs.

Kok Keng’s experience in the sports industry extends beyond legal practice, as he has in the recent past, served as a member of the Football Association of Singapore’s Captain’s Advisory Panel, and as Vice-Chairman of professional S-League team Geylang International Football Club. He is currently a member of the National Football Task Force that was formed to look into raising the standards of excellence for Singapore football. He is a co-founder of the Legion of Lions, a voluntary movement formed to raise the level of public awareness and interest in Singapore football, and to promote football related welfare programmes and community causes. In June 2012, the Legion of Lions published the “50 Greatest Moments in Singapore Football” book – the first of its kind for any sport in Singapore, and thereafter conducted a series of motivational talks for primary, secondary and tertiary school students in collaboration with sports journalists and former and current national football players.

Based in Singapore, Beatrice has over 15 years’ experience in the sports marketing industry in Asia. She joined MP & Silva in October 2009 and manages company operations across the region, excluding Japan and Korea.

She was previously commercial director at Infront Sports & Media's Beijing office, where she was in charge of the commercial rights for the CBA League, Team China Basketball and Team China Football, and assisted in the sale of Fifa archive rights across Asia. Prior to Infront, Beatrice spent five years at the Total Sports Asia agency, firstly in regional sales and latterly as Senior Manager, Business Development.

Prior to entering the media, PJ was a professional footballer in the USA, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore before retiring due to injury in 2003. PJ was previously an advisor at ANZ Private Bank and is President of the Australian and New Zealand Association (Singapore). PJ holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and has been based in Asia for the last 15 years.

He has been a practising lawyer since 1987. He has served as legal advisor to several Spanish and foreign clubs and sports entities and serves on the boards of several national and international associations. He also teaches Masters degree courses on sport and commerce.

Hang Yu joined LeSports in 2014, taking charge of strategic acquisitions and investment. He has extensive experience in sports marketing and new media, first as marketing manager of the Asian Football Confederation, and then over more than a decade at Sina, from 2002 until joining LeSports.

He was awarded the Football Industries MBA by the University of Liverpool, and is a specialist in the areas of sports media rights, internet and IP law related to sports property.
